Our Heritage

Beginning in the mid 1980’s, Westbuild was born as a small family business producing a limited range of tile adhesives and packaged concretes and aggregates, to supply the local building and tile merchants. Tony Parlapiano, founder and Managing Director, drew on his vast experience in the building industry to develop quality products still in manufacture today.

With this first hand approach to creating and supplying the right product, and as a testament to Westbuild’s ongoing business practices, relationships originally forged with first customers are still maintained and enjoyed today, 35 years on.

Today, Westbuild is a multi-site operation supplying Western Australia with a vast range of packaged building products, meeting and exceeding current standards and installation procedures, all produced in a modern, state of the art facility.

Driven by our founding philosophy of commitment to innovation, Westbuild continues to reinvest in our products, processes and packaging. We are proudly the first manufacturer of building products to introduce Rainproof packaging to Australia.
